Overheard in a pub in Amakna:

"I must try again this year, Oisin."

"You're mad, Potrick, yee know as well as I, those little green crawlies can't be trusted!"

"That may be, but I cannot rest until all of Amakna is free of Arachnees. I've saved up enough to buy the Leprechauns' services for three full days, the job is too much for one man."

"They turned men green, Potrick! They're a menace."

"It's only a bit of fun for them, don't you see? It don't even last that long. If they can restore this land to how it should have been, with every Arachnee chased away, a bit of green's a fair price to pay."

"Bah. Livin' by a crazy ideal, no wonder they call you a saint. Mark me, if the wee monsters run amuck again, don't come crying to me for help!"

"Everything will work out for the best, Oisin, you'll see."

It seems that the great Saint Potrick will try to rid Amakna of arachnees again this year. From March 16th to March 18th, he and his helpers will try to exterminate each and every spider on the DOFUS 1.29 English servers. Although his helpers, the green Leprechauns, have charged him dearly for their help, they might be convinced to part with some of that money, especially if one were to bargain with a sword!

Among the many exciting new things at Ankama Convention #5, you’ll have the opportunity this year to challenge one of Frigost’s most terrifying creatures… the terrible YeCh’Ti!

This boss has been specially created for the convention, and to confront it, you can choose one of the twelve characters (one from each class) and create a team of 4 players! The characters, all level 150, will be equipped with their class set and a pre-defined weapon. Once ready for combat, you’ll have thirty minutes to defeat the monster!
Those who emerge victorious from their battle will receive a unique item for their character, allowing them to show everyone that they have more hair on their chest than the YeCh'Ti himself!

Note: the YeCh’Ti fight is only open to DOFUS PREMIUM members and holders of an AC#5 Premium Pass.

The DevQuizz is back! This ever-popular game takes place at each Ankama Convention and sees 5 players face off against 5 DOFUS developers (including the mighty Lichen) to answer questions (in French) about all things DOFUS.

If the players win a round, they win prizes. However, if they lose a round, the Devs will spin the dreaded Wheel of Nerf to see which class will be “balanced” in the next update!

This year, all spectators present at the Main Stage can attend the DevQuizznator for a chance to qualify for the DevQuizz! A giant quiz will be organised for teams, with each wrong answer immediately eliminating the whole team. The last remaining team will be invited up on stage to answer some more knockout questions, until there are only 5 participants remaining...
