We'd like to extend a special thanks to our community - fansite administrators, forum administrators, and friends - for it is your passion and commitment that drives us to keep creating new and unique games. With every ending comes a new beginning, a clean slate, and a new story to be written. Thank you from all of us on the Tabula Rasa team, past and present.
Special Intelligence units throughout AFS territory have been monitoring an escalation of Bane assaults and communications in the recent weeks. Some of the communications have been intercepted and decoded, and we have reason to believe that the Bane are planning a massive, multi-front assault sometime in the coming days. The most disturbing transmission appears to have originated from the center of Bane controlled space, and it appears that the Neph are getting directly involved in the upcoming Bane offensive.
We know that the Neph are an offshoot of the Eloh race, and they sided with the Thrax in their campaign against the rest of the universe. The Neph seek to subjugate and control the races of the universe, and as we know from Machina and the Forean infection, they don't require that we are willing.
The Neph are extremely powerful and dangerous; they are not only aggressive like the Thrax, they are also shrewd and cunning commanders. Our intelligence sources tell us that the Neph are no longer fully organic beings, having completely fused themselves with a form of bio-metallic technology unlike anything we have ever seen. Like the Eloh, they are all proficient in a form of Logos powers, and have assimilated technologies to amplify these powers significantly.
From this intercepted transmission, we also know that they now have full use of wormhole technology. For a long time, this technological disadvantage forced the Bane to transport their troops through space, but now we may have to face wave after wave of Bane troops without rest or respite. We also know that the Neph will be on the battlefield to lead and rally the Bane troops against us on Arieki and Foreas with the sole purpose of complete and absolute genocide. Any Neph that is seen on the battlefield must be eliminated, and quickly, before they can transport a large enough Bane force to overrun us.
We request that all military personnel begin fortifying defenses at every AFS base in preparation for a massive Bane assault. If enemy troop movements are as large as we fear, and the Neph are truly prepared to lead all out war against us, this may be our last stand. Penumbra has been informed of the situation and is standing by on the use of their last resort weapon. We can not afford to be complacent or uncertain, but if it is truly our destiny to be destroyed, we are taking them all with us.

This problem only affects some accounts that had characters on multiple servers that were merged. We are currently working on a fix to automatically address this problem and return the correct credit amounts to the accounts as soon as possible.

The merge is planned to include the Pegasus, Orion, and Cassiopeia servers. The European server, Centarus, will not be included in the server merge, allowing us to host a separate 'sunset' event for that server that is more suited to European time zones.
Please note that due to the large amount of data processing and transfer involved, it may take up to 48 hours before the Hydra server is active after Monday's data capture. This means that character's will appear to "time warp" back to Monday at 12:01 AM on the new server. We do not recommend doing anything irreversible to your character after Monday's data capture, as we are not absolutely confirming the server merge at this time. We will release more details, as well as a final confirmation of the server merge, early next week.

Maps and Missions
Responding to unspecified intelligence, AFS Construction personnel have expanded the CELLAR Arena in preparation for imminent Bane hostilities. Recruits will find that these areas currently have restricted access.
Edmund Range Training Grounds has been enlarged, and newly available combat technology has been made available to recruits there.
Two depots were added... one in front of each team. They do not contribute to scoring but supply the owning team with Giant Robots.
All AFS buildings and structures have updated new looks

Friday Night Fights
This weeks FNF landed full force on the Orion Server! With the highly anticipated Night of Champions event closing in, the field of competitors were eager to claim one of the remaining spots in the Champions only tournament...or further cement their dominance and build momentum going into the final event.
Round One: Deadra defeated Valashar, Kaczmanchoy beat Cesspool, Chandler overcame Vaeyn and Tendari took out Machka.
Semi-Finals: Kaczmanchoy defeated Deadra and Chandler beat Tendari.
Finals: Kaczmanchoy defeated Chandler.
Final Challenge: Not eager to repeat the beating he took last week, Kaczmanchoy opted for the Pride & Trust Challenge match that would see him paired with Chandler to take on the team of Deadra & Vaeyn. Despite the status of all competitors as current or former FNF Champions, only one team could walk away victorious and when the dust had settled, Kaczmanchoy & Chandler were standing tall over the fallen Deadra & Vaeyn.
Announcement: Besides the upcoming Night of Champions event on February 27th, we have one more special FNF planned. On Friday, February 20th, we will host a Devs vs. Players FNF. Keep your calendars clear and join us as members of the TR Development team will log in and slug it out with TR Players. That night will also see a Dev "King of the Hill" fight and a chance for players to team with Developers in the "Epic Pride & Trust Challenge".

The turn out for this event was astonishing! 20 players!
(Current record: Event 1 = 4, Event 2 = 10, Event 3 = 20.)
I hope to do the same thing next week but I'm not sure when D16 will go live as it will cause some timing and balance issues. Rewards will be distributed to you by Avatea at a later date, possibly Monday. I will keep you informed. Notes:

Friday Night Fights
Though originally intended to take place on the Cassiopeia server, the recent release of D16 resulted in this weeks FNF being moved to PTS since the main servers were almost entirely empty while players searched for the newest goodies released in this latest patch. The draw of nifty weapons and cool armor didn't stop this weeks competitors from chasing one of the few remaining spots in the upcoming Nigh of Champions tournament though.
Round One: Fuzzball defeated Machka, Bishop beat Vaeyn, Kaczmanchoy (with a 'C') took out Pegasus and Degon overcame Heally.
Round Two: Fuzzball beat Bishop and Kaczmanchoy (with a 'C') defeated Degon.
Final Round: Kaczmanchoy (with a 'C') took out Fuzzball.
Final Challenge Match: First time FNF Champion Kaczmanchoy (with a 'C') is a firm believer in "No Guts No Glory" so it was no surprise when he chose to take on the dreaded Gut Check. Kacz faced off against the team of Heally, Fuzzball, Degon, Machka, Pegasus & Bishop and though he put in a heck of an effort, the Champion just couldn't overcome the numbers and fell quickly to the team of challengers.
Register for this week's AFS Boxing Tournament on the Unofficial Tabula Rasa Forums or turn up on the evening (every Friday evening from 8:30pm GMT or 9:30pm Central European Time) at the C.E.L.L.A.R. 1, Centaurus.
